8 a.m.
Check In and Continental Breakfast
Receive information about your day at IIT while enjoying a continental breakfast.

8:15–9 a.m.
Early Bird Tour
If you arrive early, join us for a 45-minute walking tour of Main Campus (does not include residence halls).

9–9:45 a.m.
Welcome to IIT
Hear from Al Nunez, director of undergraduate admission, about IIT and its mission of academic excellence.
We will also introduce you to facts about IIT and to some members of the IIT community.

9:45–11 a.m.
IIT University Fair
Join faculty, staff, and current student to explore many of the academic resources offered at IIT. Each IIT
college will be represented, as well as many of the different resources available to students, such as Galvin
Library, the Study Abroad Office, and Residence and Greek Life.

9:45–10:30 a.m.
Planning to Transfer to IIT
This session will help prospective transfer students navigate the admission, financial aid, and scholarship
processes to ensure the successful transition from another college to IIT. Representatives from Undergraduate
Admission and Financial Aid will be in attendance. You will have time to attend the fair after.

10 a.m.–1 p.m.
Counselor Corner
Stop by if you have questions—an admission counselor will available throughout the day to answer specific
questions you may have.

10:30–11:15 a.m.
Freshman Admission and Financial Aid Overview
Learn about the admission and financial aid processes at IIT, as well as scholarship opportunities for students.
We will have separate sessions for juniors (or younger) and seniors.

11:15 a.m.–12:15 p.m.
Explore Your Major
You’ve been to their college booth, now meet with faculty in your specific area of interest and learn about
academic opportunities both inside and outside the IIT classroom. We will walk you to the sessions from
Hermann Hall.

11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m.
Lunch
Lunch will be available for two hours, so feel free to grab a plate of food and talk with members of the
IIT community.

1–2 p.m.
Freshman Admission and Financial Aid Overview
Learn about the admission and financial aid processes at IIT, as well as scholarship opportunities for students.

1–3 p.m.
Student Activities in The Bog (IIT’s Campus Recreation Center)
Come talk with current student leaders about their IIT experience. Join current student organizations for
bowling, pool, or ping-pong in the popular IIT student hangout.


There will be different tours offered between noon and 3 p.m., and will include a tour of IIT’s historic Main Campus, Keating Sports Center,
and the IIT Idea Shop.
